Believe it or not Fort McMurray baseball season is just around the corner! The Giants open up the season on the road in Lethbridge on June 2nd, and at home on June 6th so mark your calendars. while there are still a lot of things to do before then the roster for this upcoming season is all but complete. It is a roster the Giants staff  are VERY excited about as it features some amazing talent! Currently there are 31 players on the roster, and unless there are injuries there are on only a couple spots left to fill on the roster. With this many talented  players on the roster for the upcoming season the team looks to be much deeper, and prepared to handle the grind of a WMBL season compared to last season.

While the roster is full of new, and exciting faces there are still a few retuning players from last season. Local boys Josh Iannetti, Tyler Hodder, and Ryan Dunn are all back for a second season along with Bonnyville native Nick Cardinal. The 2017 Giants will feature a very talented team, with a good balance of younger, and more seasoned college players which should set the team up for years of success. Players are coming  from all over North America to play for the Giants even as far away as Puerto Rico.

With the roster almost complete now is a good time to check in with some of our players and see what they have been up to. most are off to a very impressive start, and are making a name for themselves on the college baseball scene.
