Andrew assumed the role of General Manager for the Fort McMurray Giants Baseball Club (WCBL) in 2022. Before joining the WCBL organization, he was Director of Player Development and Baseball Operations for the Fort McMurray Minor Baseball Association (FMMBA) from 2015 to 2022. During his tenure with FMMBA Andrew became the only NCCP Learning Facilitator in Northern Alberta. He helped players obtain college placement and the Oil Giants competed in two 18U National Championships in 2018 and 2022.
Before moving to Fort McMurray, Andrew coached with the Okotoks Dawgs Academy, followed by the job of High-Performance coordinator with the Alberta Amateur Baseball Council (AABC). With AABC, Andrew was the GM of Team Alberta at the Western Canada Summer Games and Head Coach of the Alberta Prospects Team. Andrew has been fortunate to coach hundreds of players who have gone on to play at the college or professionally. Andrew played collegiate baseball at Bacone College in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and spent his summers playing in the Coastal Plains League. After playing at Bacone College, he remained on the coaching staff. Andrew received his Master's Degree in Sports Administration from East Central University.
Andrew is originally from Toronto, Ontario, where he was a member of the Ontario Blue Jays. While with OBJ, he was named one of the Top 50 High School Baseball Players in 1998 and 1999 by Canadian Baseball Network and MLB Hall of Fame Inductee Bob Elliott. Andrew and his wife Marina have one daughter, Monroe (6).
