Andrew has made significant strides in baseball since becoming General Manager of the Fort McMurray Giants Baseball Club in 2022. With a strong foundation as the Director of Player Development and Baseball Operations for the Fort McMurray Minor Baseball Association from 2015 to 2022, he became a pivotal figure in developing local talent. Before his time in Fort McMurray, Andrew honed his coaching skills with the Okotoks Dawgs Academy and served as the High-Performance Coordinator for the Alberta Amateur Baseball Council (AABC). His experience includes managing Team Alberta at the Western Canada Summer Games and coaching the Alberta Prospects Team, coaching numerous players who advanced to college or professional levels.
Andrew's baseball journey began in Toronto, Ontario, where he played for the Ontario Blue Jays and was recognized by the Canadian Baseball Network as one of the Top 50 High School Baseball Players in 1998 and 1999. He played collegiate baseball at Bacone College in Oklahoma and continued his coaching career after graduation, earning a Master's in Sports Administration from East Central University.
Andrew and his wife Marina enjoy family life outside baseball with their six-year-old daughter Monroe.
