Fort McMurray Giants Baseball Club (FMGBC)
ADMISSIONS
All persons, excluding children under six (6), must have a ticket for admission into Legacy Dodge Fied at Shell Place. Ticket holders are restricted to sitting in the location that appears on their ticket and agree to abide by facility policies and provincial and federal laws. FMGBC reserves the right to revoke tickets by refunding the purchase. All persons entering Legacy Dodge Field at Shell Place are subject to search.
ALCOHOL
Intoxicated or alcohol-impaired individuals may be denied admission into the stadium or subsequently required to leave upon request. As you know, violators are subject to applicable legal action. Such ejections or denial of admission are not grounds for refunds.
ANIMALS
Service animals (dogs) for guests with disabilities are permitted. All other animals are prohibited. All service animals (dogs) must always remain under the handler's control.
ANNOUNCEMENTS OR MESSAGES
An announcement or message will be broadcast over the public address system in an emergency. Emergency message requests must be presented to a Security Officer or event staff member.
ASSUMED RISK
People attending baseball games assume all risks and dangers of personal injury and all hazards arising from or related to the event, whether before, during, or after.
ATM MACHINES
There are ATMs in Legacy Dodge Field at Shell Place. The ATM on the 3rd base concession arena, by the Suite Entrance by the escalators, will be the only one available. At the same time, the building is open to the general public.
BABY CHANGING STATIONS
Baby changing stations are available in the public restrooms in the baseball stadium.
BABY STROLLERS/CARRIERS
Baby strollers/carriers are permitted in Legacy Dodge Field at Shell Place.
BACKPACKS
Backpacks are not allowed in Legacy Dodge Field at Shell Place.
BANNERS, FLAGS OR SIGNS
Banners, signs, and flags are not permitted inside the baseball facility. Their use is limited to FMGBC-recognized sponsored groups and requires prior approval from the FMGBC.
CAMERAS/VIDEO CAMERAS
Cameras (no camera cases) are permitted for personal use. Any commercial photography is prohibited. Cameras with lenses are allowed as long as they do not exceed 3 inches or the lens (detachable or non-detachable) does not disturb or obstruct the view of other fans. Tripods, monopods, video cameras, and flash photography are prohibited inside Legacy Dodge Field at Shell Place unless prior approval is obtained from the FMGBC.
CHAIR BACKS & SEAT CUSHIONS
Chairbacks cannot be brought into Legacy Dodge Field at Shell Place. Seat cushions 16" wide or smaller are permitted, but no ba "k or metal frame is allowed.
CONCESSIONS
Concession stands will open when patrons are allowed to enter the stadium. FMGBC operates the concession stands. Other groups or individuals may sell food items inside the stadium fence with permission from FMGBC.
CONDUCT
The Western Canadian Baseball League and the Fort McMurray Giants Baseball Club promote good sportsmanship among student-athletes, coaches, and fans. We ask you to cooperate by positively supporting the participants and officials. Fans are reminded to be prohibited from entering the playing field before, during, and after the contest. Negative comments directed at student-athletes, coaches, game officials, team representatives, or other fans are subject to ejection. The WCBL and FMGBC thank you for your cooperation.
DRONES (Remote Controlled Model Aircraft/Unmanned Aerial System)
Policies prohibit the use of drones on the Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo property without prior approval from the RRCWB and FMGBC.
ELECTRONIC TICKET SCANNING
All tickets will be electronically scanned to verify authenticity. Another fan needs to be able to reuse tickets scanned upon entry. Patrons assume all risks for tickets purchased through sources other than the FMGBC Ticket Office.
ELEVATOR
Proper game credentials or premium area (suites and club area) game tickets are required to use the elevator in Legacy Dodge Field at Shell Place.
EMERGENCY MEDICAL PROCEDURES
If you have a medical emergency, please contact a security guard or FMGBC personnel for assistance. You must provide the exact location of the emergency so medical personnel can determine where it occurred.
EVACUATION
In an emergency, stadium staff will use the public address system to inform patrons of the situation and any instructions. In the unlikely event of an evacuation, please remain calm, assist others, and follow the instructions of the game-day event staff and police/safety personnel.
FAMILY/SPECIAL NEEDS RESTROOMS
Family/special needs restrooms are located on the concourse level. These restrooms are all wheelchair accessible.

Spectators are only allowed to enter the playing field before, during or after the contest if they are adequately credentialed or accompanied by an authorized staff member. Violators are subject to arrest.

FIRST-AID ROOM
First aid rooms are located on the concourse level, First Base Side (Visiting Dugout), between sections 105 and 106.
FOOD AND BEVERAGES
Patrons may only bring food or beverages inside the stadium. Concession stands are located in the baseball facility.
GAME DATES AND TIMES
FMGBC game dates and times are subject to change. In the event a game date or game time is changed, this information will be posted on www.fortmcmurraygiants.ca
GATES OPEN
Stadium gates are open 2 hours before the start of the game.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
In inclement weather (e.g., dangerous winds, rain, electrical storm) or other emergencies, all guests will be advised to seek shelter. When possible, emergency instructions will be delivered via the public address system.
LOST CHILDREN
Parents or guardians with a lost child should contact an event staff member, police officer, or security guard to notify them that their child is missing. Measures will be taken to locate the child. If a child gets separated from their party, they should inform the nearest security guard or event staff member. If the child knows their seat location, attempts will be made to return that child to that location. Parents should pre-determine an area inside and outside the stadium to meet if they get separated.
LOST AND FOUND PROCEDURES
The lost and found is located at the main gate. All items turned over to event staff personnel or security guards will be taken to the ticket booth in the baseball stadium. Items not picked up by the end of the game will be turned over to the FMGBC Management. Individuals who have lost items should email info@fortmcmurraygiants.ca to inquire about lost items. Fort McMurray Giants Baseball Club is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
PARKING LOT LOCATION AND HOURS
Lots at the RRC are subject to change due to construction or other events. Overnight parking is not prohibited. Parking near the stadium is at your own risk. Hit baseballs occasionally damage vehicles parked nearby.
PARKING - ADA/MOBILITY ACCESSIBLE PARKING
ADA/Mobility parking is provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. To qualify, a vehicle must display a valid provincial permit, and permit holders must be present in the car.
PARKING - RV's
No special parking for RV's provided.
RE-ERV's
Legacy Dodge Field at SRV's Place has a re-entry policy. Once guests leave the stadium, they can return with a valid ticket to the current game. Guests should plan accordingly and bring everything they need to the stadium upon initial entry.
RESTROOMS
The restrooms are located on the concourse level (1st base side and 3rd base side) and are wheelchair accessible.
SECURITY OF STADIUM
- ● You and your belongings may be searched upon entry into the stadium.
- ● By tendering your ticket and entering the stadium, you consent to such searches
and waive any related claims that you might have against FMGBC. You will not be allowed into the stadium if you do not consent to a search. Please consult the "Stadium Policies" for items not allowed in the "stadium. - ● Into "intoxicated and impaired fans may not be allowed into or removed from the stadium.
- ● Suspicious activity, disruptive patrons, and guest-related problems should be reported to an FMGBC staff member or security guard immediately.
- ● Uncooperative patrons showing disregard for other patrons, the stadium or the teams may be ejected from the facility.
- ● Ticket holders are responsible for their conduct and the conduct of their guests and persons using the tickets.
- ● Spectators are prohibited from entering the playing field before, during and after the contest unless adequately credentialed or accompanied by an authorized staff member. Violators are subject to ejection and arrest.
- ● An ejected patron will not be allowed to return for the remainder of the game. Re-entry by an ejected person is grounds for arrest.
SEE SOMETHING/SAY SOMETHING
Fort McMurray Giants Baseball Club and Western Canadian Baseball League want you to enjoy your game day at the baseball facility. You are essential to creating this experience. If you see something suspicious, you can report it to local authorities throughout the arena.
STADIUM POLICIES

- ● Small clutch purses no larger than 4.5”x 6.5” and clear bags 12”x 6”x12” are permitted and are subject to search.
- ● Service animals for guests with disabilities are permitted. All other animals are prohibited. All service animals must always remain under the handler's control.
- ● Legacy Dodge Field at Shell Place is designated as a tobacco-free campus facility. Tobacco and smoking preparation (electronic cigarettes, vapour devices, etc.) use is prohibited.
- ● No chairbacks are allowed in the stadium.
- ● Ticket holders are responsible for their conduct and the conduct of their guests and persons using the tickets.
- ● The following items are not permitted in Legacy Dodge Field at Shell Place: banners, signs or flags, umbrellas, tobacco products, beach balls, explosives, weapons, firearms, drones, outside food or drink, ice chests, backpacks, video cameras, cameras with lens longer than 3 inches (detachable or non-detachable), tripods, monopods, laser pointers, selfie sticks and any item that may create a safety concern, disturbance or obstructs the view of other fans.
SUITES AND CLUB SEATS
Individuals must have the proper game tickets or credentials to access Legacy Dodge Fied at Shell Place's premium areas.
THROWING OF ITEMS
Throwing any items is prohibited and may result in eviction and prosecution.
TICKET BOOTH GAME DAY HOURS
Game day tickets are sold in the ticket booths at the baseball facilities' main entrances. Game day ticket sales begin 2 hours before the start of the game and will close at the end of the 6th inning for baseball.
TICKET OFFICE - WILL CALL
"Will Call" tickets are distributed from the ti "ket booth" located at the main entrances to the baseball facilities starting 2 hours before the start of the game. The person picking up the tickets must present a photo ID to receive them. "Will Call" tickets may also be picked up from "the main G "ants office located at the main gate from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. on game days
TICKET REPLACEMENT PASSES
Replacement passes are available to season ticket holders and individual ticket holders for the following reasons:
- ● Tickets are to be left for a friend
- ● Tickets were lost or stolen
- ● Tickets were accidentally destroyed
Requests for replacement passes can be placed only by the ticket holder of record. Replacement passes are issued solely at the discretion of the Ticket Office. Replacement passes take precedence over the original ticket(s). Anyone attempting to gain admittance to an event using the original ticket(s) after a replacement pass has been issued will be escorted from the facility and could face prosecution.
TOBACCO PRODUCTS
Legacy Dodge Field at Shell Place is designated a tobacco-free facility. Tobacco and smoking preparations (electronic cigarettes, vapour devices, etc.) are prohibited. We request and appreciate your compliance with this Policy.
TRASH
Trash receptacles for trash disposal and other items are placed throughout the stadium. Please help keep the stadium clean by properly disposing of your waste.
UMBRELLAS
Umbrellas are prohibited in the baseball stadium. Fans should bring appropriate rain gear in case of inclement weather.
VIDEO CAMERAS
Video cameras are not permitted in the stadium.
WEAPONS/FIREARMS
No weapons/firearms of any kind are permitted in the baseball complex.
WEATHER (LIGHTNING)
When lightning is detected within fifteen (15) KM of the baseball stadium, the game will be suspended until further notice. The game will resume after thirty (30) minutes of no detected lightning strikes within a fifteen (15) KM radius of the stadium. The teams will have a short warm-up period following this thirty (30) minute suspension.
WEATHER (REFUGE AREAS)
Fans may be directed to weather refuge areas if the game is stopped or delayed for severe weather.
WEATHER WARNINGS
If necessary, the general public will be informed of severe weather conditions via the public address system.
